This tri-laminate sport orthotic insole is built with three different shell rigidities to customize and accommodate any patients' biomechanical support requirements. The shell is laminated between a top and bottom cover. The top cover (to the toes) provides shock absorption as it wicks away moisture, keeping the feet cool and dry. The bottom cover adds additional comfort and proper shoe fit.

Made of the same material that prescription orthotics are made of, the "poly grade" shell allows for optimum support without the bulkiness of store bought arch supports which means it will fit in a greater variety of shoes.

Additionally, the Dr Joseph's LifeStep Sport Orthotics device has other characteristics of a prescription orthotic that separates it from arch supports found in drug stores. This includes intrinsic (internal) posting which further balances the foot, (to reduce pronation) a medial wedge which helps take the pressure of the orthotic off the bottom of the foot, so you do not feel like you are walking on a rock.
